The founder of VanGogh Window Fashions, Cary Miller, learned the window covering business from the ground up - literally.  He began going on window covering installation appointments with his father when he was six years old.  As he grew older, Cary learned the skills necessary to install any and every type of window covering imaginable.  In 1988, he began his own contract installation business. As a natural progression, he began retailing window treatments to the public in 1992.  Initially the retail operation began as a Mr.Minblind franchisee. 

With Cary's strong desire to succeed and a wellspring of knowledge about the industry, his retail business was off like a rocket. Although the franchisor eventually dissolved, the business started by Mr. Miller continued to thrive and has been operating under the VanGogh name ever since. In 1994, VanGogh Window Fashions began fabricating plantation shutters and, shortly after began fabricating 2" blinds.  Today, we produce quality window coverings from our manufacturing facility in Trussville, Alabama.  Being able to control production quality and production delivery has helped VanGogh Window Fashions become Birmingham's leader in custom window treatments.
